In February, we launched a pilot Transformation internship with two ex-dancers we met through outreach.  It is a paid internship one day a week where we do a book or Bible study with them along with a rotation of different training classes on life and vocational skill topics. These girls have big dreams for their lives outside of the clubs…financial stability, healing of their minds and bodies, new businesses and jobs, safe places of their own, loving homes for their kids, new boundaries, healthy community, and best of all, a closer relationship with God.

Every month we plan to memorize a verse with the interns. The foundational verse for the internship is Romans 12:2, so we thought this would be the perfect place to begin our discipline of Scripture memory with them.

We will be creating some fun graphics to help with the Scripture memory. The letters in the graphic represent the first letter of each word in Romans 12:2 – “Do not be conformed to this world “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
